 Exchange through Experiences Canada 

Do you like adventure? Do you like the outdoors? Do you like meeting new people and learning about different cultures? If you said yes to these questions, there is an exchange opportunity that you might be interested in. 

Twin Lakes is organizing an exchange through Experiences Canada for the Spring of 2025. We are hoping to partner with a community on Baffin Island in Northern Canada. 

If you missed the meeting and you are interested in learning more, you should speak to Mr. Irwin or Mrs. Vurma.

Attention Grade 12’s! We are pleased to announce that the Twin Lakes Annual Grad Breakfast will be taking place on Monday June 3rd in the Caf. Admission by voluntary donation of a non-perishable food item. This is a fun event to celebrate graduation and spend time with friends all while enjoying a good meal. Please observe many posted signs around the school to register your seat for the Grad Breakfast. Please confirm your attendance by April 30th! Good morning,

Today is the day of our first matinee performance of Murder on the Orient Express.  To support the cast and crew, we need to make a few adjustments to our daily schedule.

Please be aware that the cafeteria will be closed for eating starting at 11am since we need to allow time for our custodial team to prepare the seats and allow the cast and crew to do their sound checks.

The cafeteria servery will be closing at 11:15 am AND will be closed for afternoon break.

We will be turning off the bells for the end of period 3 and start of period 4.  Please mind the time and teachers will dismiss you at 12:55. You are expected to be in period 4 class no later than 1:05pm.

Lastly, to help reduce noise, there will be no access to the foyer during periods 3 and 4 or the music/drama hall.  When you are transitioning classes, please avoid using the foyer stairwell and the music/drama to access the second floor.  You can use it to go from the first floor to the third or reverse, but you cannot use those stairwells access on the second floor.  To access the second floor, please use only the far stairwell.

 Athletic Achievements

Did you know there is a direct correlation between physical activity and academics?  The more active a student is, the better their grades will be.  Proof of this are the students recognized on the plaque outside of the main gyms who participated in sports in the first semester and who achieved an above 80% average.  Please check the plaque on the wall to ensure accuracy and if there are any mistakes, please stop by the phys. ed. office.

Congratulations to all student athletes for their amazing academic and athletic achievements here at Twin.  Great work and good luck to all spring student athletes! Keep up the good work in sports and in class!

 OLB Jr Hockey Tournament

There will be an uber-important meeting for all players attending the OLB jr hockey tournament in the Center of Hockey Excellence (rm 315) at 1050. Please do not be tardy.
