High school is a great time for students to learn new languages. The Languages Department provides a variety of opportunities for students to experience the French and Ojibwe languages. Ojibwe is offered at the beginner level where no prior experience is needed. Specialty courses for the Extended French program include: géographie (Grade 9), histoire (Grade 10) et Plein air (Grade 11) plus French every year from Grade 9 to 12.

In addition, students can take additional International Languages courses through The Learning Centres. These credit courses are offered outside of the school day.
